Notably, while ruling out imposing any form of COVID-19 passport, the White House press secretary has said that private businesses were still free to explore the idea. This raises the possibility that such passports could be introduced in the United States via the ‘backdoor’.

Apparently, the pandemic conveniently provided European politicians with the ‘excuse’ they needed to introduce the idea.
