In comments this week, Vladimir Putin said the following:
Russia’s demilitarization and deNazification campaign in Ukraine is proceeding as planned.
Following his phone conversation with French President Macron on Thursday, a Kremlin press statement said:
The French president “did not say a word about Ukrainian authorities sabotaging the Minsk Agreements for seven years, as well as about the West’s and France’s own failure to do anything to force Kiev to implement them,” adding:
“(Y)ears (of Ukraine’s) genocide of Donbass civilians that led to numerous human losses and forced hundreds of thousands of people to seek shelter in Russia is being hushed.”
“Vladimir Putin disagreed…with many voiced points.”
“In particular, this includes Macron’s claim, in which he called it a lie that Russia is fighting Nazism in Ukraine.”
“In this regard,(Putin) provided (indisputable evidence) about (Nazism’s) significant role in Kiev’s state policy.”
“Vladimir Putin provided a detailed explanation of the principal approaches and conditions in the context of the talks with Kiev representatives.”
“(F)irst and foremost point is demilitarization of Ukraine — so that there will never be any threat to the Russian Federation from its territory.”
“(G)oals of the special military operation will be completed.”
Kiev’s attempts “to buy time by delaying negotiations” were ordered by the Biden regime in pursuit of unacceptable demands on Russia.
“The Russian side confirmed its readiness to cooperate with resolv(ing) urgent humanitarian problems.”
Putin also explained that Nazified Ukrainian battalions are holding large numbers of Indian students hostage as human shields in Kharkov.
On Thursday, Putin stressed:
“Let me repeat.”
“Hundreds of foreign nationals are trying to leave the zone of combat operation, but they are not allowed.”
They’re “held hostage.”
“Our servicemen provided corridors in all zones of clashes without exception.”
They “provided vehicles so that civilians, foreign citizens, have the chance to reach a safe place.”
“I emphasize once again that (extremist) nationalists don’t let them do this.”
They’re being “thrown under fire.”
Western regimes and their MSM press agents are silent about the above reality and all else that conflicts with the fabricated official narrative.
Separately, Putin praised Russian service members for “(f)ulfilling tasks set to protect our people in Donbass, to ensure the safety of our Fatherland…”
They’re conducting themselves “courageously like real heroes.”
They’re “fighting steadfastly with the full understanding of the rightness of their cause.”
“Even after being wounded, soldiers and officers remain in the ranks, sacrificing their lives to save their fellow servicemen and civilians.”
Families of Russian military personnel killed in the line of duty will receive payments of seven million rubles (about $65,000).
Wounded military members will receive $28,000.
Disabled Russian veterans receive lifetime pensions.
On Thursday, Sergey Lavrov slammed Kiev for delaying talks, based on “orders from Washington.”
“I have no doubt about that,” he stressed.
Following the Obama/Biden regime’s 2014 coup, independent Ukraine was transformed into a US vassal state.
Round one talks between Russian and Ukrainian delegation achieved nothing more than agreement for further negotiations.
Held Thursday after delaying them for over 24 hours, agreement was reached on more follow-up talks, along with establishment of humanitarian corridors for evacuation of civilians out of harm’s way.
Moscow already instituted this policy before talks began with Ukraine officials.
No date was set for more follow-up talks at a time when objectives of both sides are too world’s apart from agreement short of Kiev’s capitulation to Russia’s legitimate demands.
On all things related to Europe’s security architecture, the US-dominated West rejects Russia’s concerns in pursuit of the diabolical aims of their ruling regimes.
Is response, Lavrov stressed that foreign nations are in no position “to determine for us what we need for our security.”
Lavrov earlier stressed that US-dominated NATO has no intention of “building trust” or working with Russia cooperatively.
Yet on Thursday, he said that the worst of times can be resolved because Russia’s demands are minimal.
His view isn’t borne out by ruptured relations between the US-dominated West and Moscow.
As long as Russia remains free from US control, chances for normalized relations are virtually nil.
While things one day may step back somewhat from unparalleled hostile actions by US/Western regimes, recent events changed the dynamic beyond return to its pre-2022 status.
Separately on Thursday, Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) director Sergey Naryshkin minced no words, saying the following:
“The masks are off.”
“The West is not just trying to put Russia under a new ‘iron curtain.’ ”
“We are talking about attempts to destroy our state – to ‘cancel’ it.”
While their ruling regimes lack the “means and resolve” to destroy Russia, they imposed an “economic, informational, and humanitarian blockade” on the country.
“What is most disgusting is that it is done under false slogans about the need to protect Ukraine’s sovereignty and European security.”
Given their history of furthering “chaos and destruction” by raping, wrecking, and plundering other countries for time immemorial, they’re in no position to proclaim lofty goals that ring hollow whenever stated.
As the “empire of lies,” unparalleled criminality, and pure evil reached Russia’s borders, its only option is going all-out to protect its security and existence.
Naryshkin stressed that hegemon USA left the Kremlin with no other choice than to demilitarize and deNazify a hostile state that shares a near 1,500 mile land and sea border with Russia, adding:
“In the eight years after the operation to forcibly change the government in Ukraine, we now have an entirely unable to negotiate, an absolutely hostile towards Moscow regime in Kiev, which sees its mission as only serving as a springboard for an attack on Russia” — as ordered by its higher power in Washington.
Vladimir Putin earlier said “(t)he appearance on our borders of a powerful military bloc…will be considered by Russia as a direct threat to our country’s security,” adding:
Russian missiles will target Ukraine if it joins NATO or allows Washington’s (solely for offense) missile defense shield to be installed in the country.
At this time, things are perilously close to conflict between the world’s dominant nuclear powers.
What’s unthinkable is possible if dominant lunatics in Washington and key Western capitals push things too far.
A Final Comment
GOP Senator Lindsey Graham is a card-carrying member of Washington’s pro-war, anti-peace, Russia bashing lunatic fringe.
It showed on Thursday by tweeting:
“Is there a Brutus in Russia?”
“Is there a more successful Colonel Stauffenberg in the Russian military?”
“The only way this ends is for somebody in Russia to take this guy out” — referring to Vladimir Putin, one of the world’s preeminent leaders.
According to Graham, cold-blooded murder “would be doing your country — and the world — a great service (sic).”
“Unless you want to live in darkness for the rest of your life (sic), be isolated from the rest of the world in abject poverty (sic), and live in darkness (sic), you need to step up to the plate (sic).”
Graham is far from a lone gunslinging lunatic in Washington, a city infested with hordes of others like him.
