Events Provoking Russia’s Special Military Operation in Ukraine

Hegemon USA has been at war on Russia by other means for time immemorial.

Its ruling regimes tolerate no nations free from their control — large, small or otherwise.

Its longstanding policy demands world community subservience to its hegemonic interests — no matter how detrimental to the rights of other nations according to international law.

Independent nations are targeted for regime change by hot and/or other means.

Color revolutions have been a favored US tactic since first played out against Serbia in 2000.

What appeared to be spontaneous and genuine followed techniques developed by the US during previous years.

Replacing Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic occurred after the Bill and Hillary Clinton crime family raped and destroyed the former Yugoslavia in 1999.

Orchestrated events in Belgrade then became a prototype for US-instigated color revolutions to follow.

Some worked. Others failed.

Ukraine’s made-in-the-USA Orange Revolution proved short-lived.

It erupted after Viktor Yanukovych won a November 2004 run-off presidential election.

While Yanukovych favored normalized relations with the West, he represented a pro-Russian constituency and was cool towards joining NATO.

In response to dubious fraud claims, Ukraine’s Western-leaning Supreme Court annulled run-off election results, ordering a new one.

Yanukovych lost. His pro-Western opponent won.

Yanukovych was reelected in January 2010 and took office in late February.

Four years later in February 2014, the Obama/Biden regime’s Maidan coup in Kiev ousted him.

Crimeans and Donbass residents refused to accept fascist rule over democratic governance they sought.

By referendum, Crimeans overwhelmingly voted to join Russia.

Vladimir Putin and Russian lawmakers obliged them.

Donbass residents formed the People’s Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk.

Beginning in April 2014, US-orchestrated and directed war on them and their people began, continuing even after Russia’s special military operation began to demilitarize, deNazify and neutralize Ukraine.

Along with protecting its own threatened security, Russia’s campaign aimed to liberate Donbass from the scourge of forever war and occupation of parts of its territory, including the port city of Mariupol.

On Friday, head of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, Mikhail Mizintsev, explained the following:

“The special military operation in Ukraine…was preceded by (eight years) of severe humanitarian disaster in Donbass, when human rights of over 6.5 million people had been violated and over 14,500 had been killed,” adding:

Daily shelling by Nazified and regular Ukrainian forces destroyed “4,115 basic facilities,” damaging 55,310 others.

Residential buildings, schools, hospitals, other structures and civilian infrastructure were targeted.

“(U)se of heavy weapons by Ukraine resulted in complete destruction of 19.5% of infrastructure in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and in considerable damage to up to 37% of it.”

From April 2014 to February 2022, “1,451,304 refugees were forced to move to the Russian Federation alone” to be free from harm’s way.

Escalated shelling from mid-February “prompted a sharp increase in the number of refugees.”

In less than a week, “106,946 Donbass residents crossed into Russia.”

Nearly four million remaining include “elderly people, children, women and socially vulnerable citizens.”

To be safe from made-in-the-USA Kiev aggression, many hunker down in basements with scant essentials of life.

Countless numbers have little or no water, heating, electricity, food and medicines.

The Biden and complicit NATO regimes, along with their MSM press agents, suppressed all of the above.

Indifferent to long-suffering Donbass residents, they’re demeaned and otherwise mistreated as non-people.

Russia’s special military operation aims to end their suffering and return normality to their lives after all these years of misery at the hand of US imperial proxies.

On Saturday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on Russia’s special military operation, saying:

Washington escalated war on Russia by other means after Crimeans corrected a historic error by becoming a Russian Federation republic.

Hostile US actions took various forms, including expulsion of Russian diplomats from the US “on trumped up charges.:

Russian property in the US was illegally seized, stolen, Zakharova stressed.

In December 2016, the Obama/Biden regime “expelled 35 Russian diplomats on New Year eve under the (phony) pretext of alleged election meddling.”

At the same time, it reduced Russia’s legitimate diplomatic presence in the US by confiscating two of its diplomatic facilities.

In August 2017, Russia’s San Francisco consulate was shut down in similar fashion, its facility seized.

At the same time, the US “expelled 35 Russian diplomats on New Year eve under the pretext of alleged election meddling,” said Zakharova.

In March 2018, 60 Russian diplomats in New York were expelled.

In April 2018, its Seattle consulate was closed, its diplomatic property seized.

In April 2021, 10 more Russian diplomats were expelled from the US.

In “September 2021, the State Department arbitrarily prescribed that 24 diplomatic mission staff who had been in the US for over three years should leave the US territory,” Zakharova explained, adding:

In the same month, Russia “was given an ultimatum demand (for) 55 more diplomatic staff (who’d) been in the US for more than three years (to) leave no later than two deadlines of January 30, 2022, and June 30, 2022.”

Earlier this month, the Biden regime declared 12 more Russian diplomatic personnel persona non grata, ordering them to leave.

One Russian UN Secretariat staff member faced similar expulsion.

Zakharova stressed the following:

“We do not dodge dialogue and are ready to hold talks but only on equal terms, on condition there is a reciprocal movement which cannot be seen in Washington even under a magnifying glass.”

“Quite the opposite, the US side is doing everything to hamper the performance of the Russian diplomatic missions in the US even more to the tune of the hypocritical speculations on the need to preserve diplomatic presence.”

All-out US war by other means on Russia wages, along with 8 years of proxy hot war in Donbass along its border.

Separate US/NATO proxy war is ongoing in Ukraine — by pouring billions of dollars worth of weapons, munition and equipment into the country before Russia’s special military operation began.

By wanting Russia bogged down in quagmire by shipping new weapons et al to Ukraine’s military.

Vladimir Putin, Sergey Lavrov and other Russian officials said its special military operation will continue until its demilitarization and deNazification of Ukraine goals are accomplished.

The way things were before Russia’s campaign began no longer exists.

A new order replaced them.

If Russia had any remaining illusions about hoped for restoration of more normalized relations with the US, events over the last month should have entirely dispelled them.

A state of US proxy war on Russia exists along with unparalleled war by other means.

The aim of both is to undermine and otherwise destroy Russia economically, financially and politically, to isolate the nation and Vladimir Putin personally.

Will it work or will Russia outmaneuver and outsmart the US-dominated West?

Only Cassandra was good at predicting future events.

I’ll pass on trying with a final comment.

If dominant US hardliners push things too far by confronting Russia militarily, all bets are off.

Whatever happens in the short and intermediate term ahead will likely include heightened risks for things turning out this way.

At the same time, Russia is the world’s most resource rich country, an issue discussed in a previous article.

Its world’s largest natural gas reserves are about one-fourth of what’s known to exist.

European countries are heavily dependent on Russian gas.

A statement by oil and gas-rich Qatar’s government said there’s no substitute for what Russia can supply.

Its other highly valued commodities are sought by many nations.

China, India, Brazil and other countries greatly value Russia as a trading partner — one that operates according to rule of law principles.

I’ve written about US decline for decades, its acceleration post-9/11.

In stark contrast, Russia is a valued ally, a reliable partner on the world stage.

It’ll likely fare well ahead after the current storm passes.

Though it could take some time to turn things around.
