DR. FAUSTI, ROYALTIES, AND THE UNASKED QUESTION

OK… by now you’re probably as sick of the planscamdemic and all its accompanying and related shenanigans as I am, shenanigans that included – in my opinion – a massive voting fraud, a stolen election, doctored statistics, dubious “science”, and “health” policy in the form of nonsensical “one size fits all ‘ medicine’”, and a list of frightening, and growing, adverse reactions from the injections, and so on.
But if you’re still following the planscamdemic circus, you’ll be aware of something like a running feud between Dr. Anthony Fausti and Kentucky US Senator Rand Paul. Personal disclosure: I won’t pretend to be anything close to “unbiased” here. I cannot stand Fausti, and the arrogant, self-assured, self-righteous posturing he brings to almost every hearing I’ve ever seen him in. After having read Robert Kennedy Jr.’s book on Fausti, that opinion of the man has only been confirmed and cemented.

Besides noting that Fausti appeared via video link before the committee due to his having contracted Covid (in spite of his own assurances about the “vaccines”!), the transcript raises the issue in no uncertain terms:
“Can you tell me that you have not received a royalty from any entity that you ever oversaw the distribution of money in research grants?”
“Well, first of all, let’s talk about royalty,” Fauci rebutted.
“No, that’s the question,” Senator Paul insisted.
“Have you ever overseen, have you ever received a royalty payment from a company that you later oversaw money going to that company?”
“You know, I don’t know as a fact, but I doubt it,” Fauci responded.
“I would be happy…”
“Well, here’s the thing is why don’t you let us know?” Paul replied.
“Why don’t you reveal… how much you’ve gotten and from what entities, the NIH refuses.
“Look we asked them. We asked them the NIH.
“We asked them whether or not who got it and how much they refuse to tell us they sent it redacted.”
“Here’s what I want to know. It’s not just about you, everybody on the vaccine committee, have any of them ever received money from the people who make vaccines?” Paul asked.
“Can you tell me that? Can you tell me if anybody on the vaccine approval committees ever receive any money from people?”
“Soundbite, number one. Are you going to let me answer a question?” Fauci objected.
“Okay. So let me give you some information.”
“First of all, according to the regulations, people who receive royalties are not required to divulge them, even on their financial statement, according to the Bayh-Dole act,” Fauci said.
“So let me give you some example from 2015 to 2020, I, the only royalties I have, was my lab and I made a monoclonal antibody for use in vitro reagent that had nothing to do with patients.
“And during that period of time, my royalties ranged from $21 a year to $700 a year.
“And the average per year was $191 and 46 cents.”
“It’s all redacted and you can’t get any information on the 1800 scientists,” Paul concluded before he was cut off by the chair.
And with that, the dirty little secret at the heart of the planscamdemic is out, for if there were royalties involved, then one is not dealing with a disinterested “scientist”, but with a massive conflict of interest, even if that royalty was only a penny, and in such cases of trifling payments, most people are aware that “other forms of consideration” are usually in play. And as Fausti notes, under the law, he is not required to disclose any royalties at all. “Other forms of consideration” involve things like under-the-table kickbacks… You know the routine.
Gee… what a wonderful, objective system: so concerned for the state of health of the people it purports to serve… NOT.
Of course, in such a system, it’s not the health of people that matter, it’s the (financial) health of the big pharmaceutical companies that really matters.
So in spite of Dr. Fausti’s attempts to slither away from the question Senator Paul was attempting to ask and to get answered, there’s another, unasked question hovering in the background of the whole thing, and I propose to ask it:
You may, or may not, remember President Trump’s boast, early in his administration, on having negotiated a reduction in the prices of some pharmaceutical drugs. You may, or may not, recall that when he made this boast, he also trumpeted (pun intended) his having negotiated and made it possible for people to use experimental treatments in the case of terminal illnesses, and so on. All of this was, of course, prior to the “outbreak” of the planscamdemic, the national “lock downs”, and the endless appearances of Dr. Fausti during Mr. Trump’s briefings.
