Nuclear armed and dangerous US/Western regimes represent a real threat to peace and humanity worldwide by possible use of these WMDs against one or more invented enemies — clearly not Russia.
In June 2020, Vladimir Putin signed a decree, titled “Basic Principles of the Russian Federation’s State Policy in the Domain of Nuclear Deterrence.”
It indicates two conditions under which Russia would use these WMDs:
“(I)n response to the use of nuclear weapons and other types of weapons of mass destruction against it and/or its allies…”
“(I)n case of aggression against the Russian Federation with the use of conventional weapons, when the very existence of the state is put under threat.”
In other words, Russia has no intention to use nukes for any reason other than if its “very existence” is jeopardized.
Clearly, the same standard does not apply to hegemon USA, its nuclear armed Western vassals and apartheid Israel — regimes operating under their own rules exclusively, ones in flagrant violation of the UN Charter and other international law.
In August, deputy head of Russia’s delegation to the UN Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) review conference, Andrey Belousov, said the following:
“Russia’s doctrinal guidelines strictly limit emergency situations in which the use of nuclear weapons is hypothetically possible, namely in response to aggression involving weapons of mass destruction, or in response to aggression involving conventional weapons, where the very existence of the state is threatened.”
“None of these hypothetical scenarios is relevant to the situation in Ukraine.”
At the time, Berousov rejected false US/Western claims about Moscow having placed its nuclear deterrent on “high alert,” stressing:
Official Kremlin policy is “increased vigilance” because of the threat posed by the US/West.
That’s “completely different (from an actual) state of high alert of strategic nuclear forces,” Belousov stressed.
Russian warnings about the “risk of nuclear war” are meant for US-dominated NATO regimes, nuclear armed and dangerous ones to deter their possible “armed confrontation with Russia,” a major threat not easing.
In response to remarks by interventionist Blinken last month — falsely accusing Russia of “reckless, dangerous nuclear saber-rattling” against regimes supporting Ukrainian Nazis — Moscow’s envoy to the UN Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) review conference, Alexander Trofimov, said the following:
As usual, Blinken’s hostile remarks were “utterly unfounded (with intent to fuel) anti-Russian hysteria,” adding:
“We…reject (his) detached from reality and unacceptable speculations that Russia allegedly threatens to use nuclear weapons, particularly in Ukraine.”
There’s no ambiguity about Russia’s nuclear doctrine.
It’s “explicitly clear” as explained above.
Trofimov also slammed other “confrontational actions and provocative statements by representatives of Western nuclear powers about the possibility of NATO interference in military operations in Ukraine against Russia.”
“Russia strictly fulfilled its (nuclear) obligations.”
Statements by the Nazified Kiev regime about obtaining nuclear weapons “call into question the viability” of the 1994 Budapest Memorandum.
It guaranteed Ukraine’s independence in exchange fo surrendering Soviet nuclear weapons on its territory.
The regime also violated the Memorandum’s provisions against “aggressive nationalism and chauvinism.”
Russia is a leading proponent of nuclear non-proliferation, disarmament, peace, stability, cooperation with other nations over confrontation and strict compliance with international law.
US-dominated Western regimes operate by worlds apart different standards.
It’s why US/Western aggression along Russia’s border, threatening its security — by use of proxy Ukrainian foot soldiers — has been ongoing against Donbass civilians since the Obama/Biden regime’s 2014 coup.
As expected in response to Vladimir Putin’s Wednesday address, the Biden regime’s so-called strategic communications coordinator, John Kirby, turned reality on its head by falsely accusing him of threats not made.
All nations have the UN Charter right to self-defense if attacked.
Before Putin authorized Russia’s SMO, its diplomats spent 8 years trying to resolve conflict between Ukrainian Nazis and Donbass.
Their good faith efforts were in vain because hegemon USA prioritizes perpetual war against Russia by hot and other means, along with Kiev regime cross-border terrorist strikes against Donbass residential communities.
Wherever the empire of lies and forever wars goes, its press agent MSM follow.
Following Putin’s Wednesday address, NYT fake news turned reality on its head as follows, roaring:
Vladimir Putin “hinted at using nuclear weapons (sic), accusing the West of trying to ‘destroy our country’ and vowing that Russia would defend itself” — the right of all nations under attack or if one appears imminent.
And this WaPo rubbish:
“Russia pushes the panic button (sic) and raises risk of nuclear war (sic).”
And this perversion of reality by the WSJ, roaring:
Putin…threatens nuclear response (sic).”
Reuters hyperventilated in similar fashion:
“Putin…issues nuclear threat to the
And this from AP (fake) news:
“Cornered by war (sic), Putin makes another nuclear threat (sic).”
US/Western press agents for imperial rampaging featured similar perversions of reality.
As a previous day’s article explained, Vladimir Putin’s Wednesday address set the record straight in strongly worded, straight-talking remarks about the collective West aims “to weaken, divide and ultimately destroy our country” and how Russia is responsibly responding.
It was a game-changing moment, what hopefully will hasten Russia’s triumph over US/Western support for the scourge of Nazi-infested central Europe — weaponizing Ukraine to wage perpetual war on the Russian Federation.
