'Never Been Busier': Cincy Bar Owner Thriving After Calling for LeBron James' Expulsion from NBA

The Cincinnati bar owner who refused to show NBA games until the NBA expels LeBron James from the league says the positive reactions to his campaign have far outweighed the negatives. On Sunday, Jay Linneman, the owner of Linnie’s Pub, decided to boycott NBA games after James tweeted a pic of a police officer present at the Ma’Khia Bryant shooting with a caption that read, “YOU’RE NEXT.” “If anyone wants to watch an NBA game, don’t come to Linnie’s Pub,” owner Jay Linneman said. “We will not air them until LeBron James has been expelled from the NBA. They just need to play the game, and that’s it,” Linneman said. “Their opinion doesn’t really matter. They’re using their position to push their opinions, and that’s just not right.” Upon hearing of the bar owner’s decision, James made light of the bar. “Aww Damn! I was headed there to watch our game tonight and have a drink! Welp,” he tweeted. Aww Damn! I was headed there to watch our game tonight and have a drink! Ravens' Lamar Jackson Tests Positive for Coronavirus

Ravens quarterback and reigning league MVP Lamar Jackson has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Rapoport announced the news on Thursday night: From @NFLTotalAccess: #Ravens QB Lamar Jackson tests positive for COVID-19. pic.twitter.com/Uq39b3tdtr — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) November 27, 2020 Jackson now joins at least a dozen other Ravens players and staff who have tested positive for the virus or come into close contact with someone who has tested positive for the virus. While the NFL’s competition committee took such preventative measures as expanding practice squads to 16 players and granting unlimited return from IR, among other things, to deal with an outbreak like the one currently happening in Baltimore, the Ravens scheduled game on Sunday against Pittsburgh is looking decidedly non-competitive. As it currently stands, Baltimore would have to face Pittsburgh without their first and third-string quarterbacks, their first and third-string running backs, both starting corners, their number one pass rusher, their fourth defensive end, and their third outside linebacker. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Thursday night that Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told his team they will not be allowed to return to the team facility until Monday. A move which,

Lions QB Matthew Stafford: 'Police Brutality, White Privilege, Racism – It's All Real'

Matthew Stafford has made a lot of money in the NFL. However, he also comes from a lot of money. A fact which has led the Lions signal-caller to label himself a person of “privilege,” who now wants to get out of his “bubble.” In an article titled, We Can’t Just Stick to Football, Stafford insists that it’s necessary for his team and others to address the perceived racial injustices in the country. “Police brutality, white privilege, racism — it’s all real,” Stafford claims. “These are not political problems. These are human problems. It should not be seen as a political statement to discuss this stuff honestly.” Stafford then wrote about his upbringing and the lack of diversity he experienced while growing up in a wealthy neighborhood. “Listen, I’m not some perfect person,” Stafford wrote in The Players Tribune. “I’m not trying to lecture anybody. I’ve made a million mistakes. I grew up in Highland Park, Texas, which is probably one of the most privileged places in the country. It’s a place that I still love very much, but it’s a bubble. That’s just a fact. I was not exposed to a lot of diversity or different ideas growing up. I was not educated

VIDEO: Crowd Boos Bubba Wallace After He's Announced, Cheers After He Crashes

Bubba Wallace was greeted with loud booing from those in attendance at NASCAR’s Cup Series All-Star Race at Bristol, Tennessee this week. Things didn’t improve for Wallace once the race began either. The sport’s lone full-time black driver crashed into a wall, after which the crowd cheered. Moreover, there were several confederate flags visible in and around the raceway. Flying in defiance of Wallace’s and NASCAR’s demand that the flags be removed from all official events. Here’s how it sounded when Wallace was introduced.
