Iran's Khamenei Calls on Muslims to Keep Fighting 'Terrorist Garrison' Israel

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called on the Muslim world Friday to keep fighting Israel, declaring the Jewish state a “terrorist garrison” which must be eliminated. “The fight against this despotic regime is the fight against oppression and the fight against terrorism. And this is a public duty to fight against this regime,” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said in a speech, as reported by the official IRNA news wire. He delivered the damning address on Iran’s annual Quds Day, which uses the Arabic name for Jerusalem, which features annual calls for the death of Israel and its ally America. The day is generally seen as the legacy of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini, who officially declared the last Friday of the month of Ramadan as International Quds Day in 1979. Iranians carry placards as they take part in a rally marking al-Quds Day (Jerusalem) day, at the capital Tehran’s Azadi (Freedom) square, on May 7, 2021. An initiative started by the late Iranian revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, Quds Day is held annually on the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. Meghan Markle used her U.S. television interview with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday night to lay out her feelings of isolation and loneliness that came with marrying into the British royal family. And I just didn’t, I just didn’t want to be alive anymore.” Harry

Romney Scolds Trump for Fighting On: 'Difficult to Imagine a Worse, More Undemocratic Action' by President

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) excoriated President Donald Trump and his allies early Friday morning for continuing to fight for a clearer picture of attempts at election fraud in key swing states. Romney alleged the president had “failed to make even a plausible case of widespread fraud or conspiracy” in a host of cases the president’s team has launched in selected battleground states where he trails Joe Biden. “The president has now resorted to overt pressure on state and local officials to subvert the will of the people and overturn the election. It is difficult to imagine a worse, more undemocratic action by a sitting American president,” Romney said in a statement posted to Twitter. pic.twitter.com/S3kFsIRGmi — Mitt Romney (@MittRomney) November 20, 2020 Romney’s statement came after Rudy Giuliani used a press conference to air allegations of electoral fraud as part of an effort to shine of a light on the vote certification process. Two other GOP senators — Sens. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) and Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) — have also rebutted comments made during Giuliani’s press conference. Iran's Angry Salami Warns Trump of 'Revenge' for Death of Top General

The commander-in-chief of the elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Saturday repeated his threat to avenge the U.S. killing of Iran’s top general Qasem Soleimani in early January, personally warning President Donald Trump a response is on its way. “Mr. Trump! Our revenge for the martyrdom of our great general is certain. It is serious. It is real,” Major-General Hossein Salami said, according to the IRGC website.  “We will hit those who were directly or indirectly involved in the martyrdom of this great man.” Soleimani, the commander of all IRGC military forces, was taken out in a precision U.S. drone strike on Baghdad in January, as Breitbart News reported. Soleimani was considered the most influential person in executing IRGC’s global terror operations including those in Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Lebanon. Several regional experts agreed at the time Soleimani’s death was even more significant than al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden’s, or Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s. Trump warned this week Washington would harshly respond to any Iranian attempts to take revenge for the death of Soleimani as his administration confirmed Iran remains the greatest threat to Middle East stability. Secretary of State @mikepompeo told

Black Lives Matter (BLM) protesters allegedly blocked the entrance to an emergency room at a Los Angeles hospital early Sunday morning where two police officers were being treated for gunshot wounds after an “ambush”, the sheriff’s office has claimed. The two deputies suffered multiple gunshot wounds in what appears to have been an unprovoked, close-range attack through the passenger window of their patrol car in Compton on Saturday night, as Breitbart News reported. The 31-year-old female deputy and 24-year-old male deputy both underwent surgery Saturday evening, Sheriff Alex Villanueva said in a late-night news conference. Both graduated from the academy 14 months ago, he said. Update: One male deputy and one female deputy were ambushed as they sat in their patrol vehicle. Both sustained multiple gunshot wounds and are in critical condition. They are both currently undergoing surgery. The suspect is still at large. — LA County Sheriffs (@LASDHQ) September 13, 2020 President Donald Trump condemned the shooting, as have local leaders. Trump retweeted the video early on Sunday and wrote, “Animals that must be hit hard!” Later, referring to the deputies, Trump tweeted, “If they die, fast trial death penalty for the killer.
