Israel Pumps $30M into “Concert,” a Revamped Propaganda Campaign to Fight Apartheid Label

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM — Losing the battle for hearts and minds abroad, Israel hopes injecting millions into a revamped government project will counter a changing global narrative. Last month, the Israeli cabinet approved 100 million shekels (about $30 million) in funding to boost government propaganda in Western countries. Under Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, the funding will restore a government initiative to combat the Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement and shift public discourse on Israel in the state’s favor. The plan is to revive a government project initially called “Solomon’s Sling” and now renamed “Concert.”  Set up in 2015 by the defunct Ministry of Strategic Affairs, which closed in 2021, Solomon’s Sling was provided with an $80 million budget. Half of the funding would come from the government and the other half would rely on individual and organizational donations, mostly from the United States. U.S. law dictates those donating to governments must register as foreign agents. Solomon’s Sling was listed as a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) run by government officials in an attempt to maintain appearances. “The understanding was that it would be easier for them to appear as a PBC than as something that the Israeli government is behind,”

Olympolitik: Fake Peng Shuai Scandal Fuels US Effort to Boycott Beijing Olympics

BEIJING — The New York Times reported on November 3 that Chinese tennis star Peng Shuai had published allegations of sexual assault against former Vice Premier of the People’s Republic of China Zhang Gaoli on the social media platform Weibo. Peng’s post was deleted within 24 hours. This led to a firestorm of speculation in U.S. corporate media about Shuai’s “safety” and whether the tennis star had gone missing. The hashtag #WhereisPengShuai went viral 10 days later after the CEO of the World Tennis Association (WTA), Steve Simon, called on Chinese authorities to investigate the situation. Prominent celebrities and tennis players such as Serena Williams also went public with their concern for Peng. I am devastated and shocked to hear about the news of my peer, Peng Shuai. I hope she is safe and found as soon as possible. This must be investigated and we must not stay silent. Sending love to her and her family during this incredibly difficult time. #whereispengshuai pic.twitter.com/GZG3zLTSC6 — Serena Williams (@serenawilliams) November 18, 2021 However, ample evidence suggests that the scandal surrounding Peng Shuai is nothing more than fake news. First, let’s review the since-deleted Weibo post, which was translated and shared

Algerian Judoku Fethi Nourine Suspended: A Brave Individual Pays the Price for Institutional Failure

BUDAPEST, HUNGARY — As these words are being written, Palestine and those who support freedom and justice commemorate the horrific murder of Muhammad al-Durrah and serious wounding of his father Jamal by Israeli forces in Gaza. It was September of 2000. The video of the killing of 12-year-old Muhammad and wounding of his father, who was trying to shield him, became one of the symbols of the second Palestinian Intifada. The following day, October 1, 2000, the Israeli police shot and killed 13 young Palestinian citizens of Israel who stood up and protested in northern Palestine, near Umm El-Fahm. No one stepped in to save the father and son, few stand today to oppose Israeli brutality. When an individual does dare to stand, they are, more often than not, punished.   Punished for standing up In the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Fethi Nourine, an Algerian Judo competitor stood up. He refused to compete with a member of the Israeli olympic team. Nourine placed his principles, standing with Palestine and its people, ahead of his own career and, in a move that could cost him his career, he challenged the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Judo Federation and

“I Won’t Compete”: Two Olympians Take Courageous Stand Against Israel and Apartheid

TOKYO — Visiting a bereaved family that lost a child is a terrible thing. It is really not something anyone should ever experience. In Palestine, where the lives of children are taken by Israeli soldiers almost daily, it is a regular occurrence. On any given day one will find in Palestine people sitting in a room filled with mourners, posters of a murdered child, coffee and dates ready to be served, and among the crowd of mourners one will easily spot the unmistakable faces of the child’s parents. In the current reality in Palestine, one cannot possibly visit all the families who mourn the loss of their child because there are simply too many. Trigger-happy Israeli soldiers shoot and the young, unarmed Palestinians fall as though their life had no value to anyone. No one protects them from the brutality of the Israeli forces and there is no one they can call on for help. The families have no recourse and in the Israeli media, the death of a Palestinian is a minor news item, reported once and then forgotten. One rarely hears of a demand for an investigation and the press, like the Israeli public, are oblivious to the

Trump Urges People To Boycott ‘Woke’ Companies: ‘We Have More People Than They Do—By Far!’

by Ryan Saavedra, Daily Wire: Former President Donald Trump encouraged people late on Saturday evening to boycott companies and organizations that are caving to the political left. The former president made the statement just days after Major League Baseball announced that it was moving the All Star Game and Draft out of Atlanta, Georgia, following democratically-elected Georgia officials’ vote to enact a comprehensive new law aimed at securing the state’s elections. “For years the Radical Left Democrats have played dirty by boycotting products when anything from that company is done or stated in any way that offends them,” Trump said in a statement. “It is finally time for Republicans and Conservatives to fight back—we have more people than they do—by far!” TRUTH LIVES on at https://sgtreport.tv/ “Boycott Major League Baseball, Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, JPMorgan Chase, ViacomCBS, Citigroup, Cisco, UPS, and Merck,” Trump added. “Don’t go back to their products until they relent. We can play the game better than them.” Trump said that the left boycotts and scares “companies into submission” and that people must “never submit” and “never give up” otherwise “the Radical Left will destroy our Country.” The statement comes after Major League Baseball announced last week that
