Donald Trump: 'Boycott Baseball' and 'Woke Companies' Opposing Georgia Election Law

President Donald Trump called for a boycott of Major League Baseball (MLB) Friday after they canceled the 2021 All-Star game in Atlanta to protest the new Georgia election law. “Boycott baseball and all of the woke companies that are interfering with Free and Fair Elections,” Trump wrote. “Are you listening Coke, Delta, and all!” Over 100 companies joined to condemn the law after it was signed, including Facebook, Google, Bank of America, Apple, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, American Express, Delta, and the Home Depot. MLB commissioner Rob Manfred announced Friday his decision to move the All-Star game to a different host city, citing “thoughtful conversations” with players. “I have decided that the best way to demonstrate our values as a sport is by relocating this year’s All-Star Game and MLB Draft,” he wrote in a statement. Trump said baseball is losing “tremendous numbers” of fans because they are afraid of the radical left. “[T]hey are afraid of the Radical Left Democrats who do not want voter I.D., which is desperately needed, to have anything to do with our elections,” Trump wrote. The new Georgia law, signed by Gov. Brian Kemp, requires an ID in order to get an absentee

GOP Rep. Donalds: Dems 'Trying to Race-Bait' with GA Election Law

Monday, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) reacted to the criticism over the stronger election law in Georgia. The law, which was signed by Gov. Brian Kemp (R-GA), includes voter ID laws for absentee voters and limits ballot drop boxes, among other more restrictive measures to shore up election integrity. Donalds, on Fox News Channel’s “America Reports,” pushed back against the claims that the more restrictive measures are racist or from the Jim Crow era. He said Democrats are “trying to race-bait” because their immediate overreaction to the law was “wrong.” “The Democrats are race-baiting. They are wrong,” Donalds asserted. “Look, I’ve reviewed the Georgia law on myself. What Georgia is doing is the absolute right thing. I know the president is running around trying to tell people that you can’t give someone a cup of water, but that’s not what Georgia law says. What Georgia law says is that you can’t give people something of value when they are in lines getting ready to vote because you know, we don’t want to buy off votes in America. That’s like a sound concept. That’s what we should be doing. The other thing that’s happening in these voting lines — people are getting

Georgia County Elections Director Fired After Audit Found Uncounted Votes

The elections board of Floyd County, Georgia, on Thursday voted to terminate its executive director after an audit found ballots left uncounted prior to the county’s initial certification. FOX 5 reports: The board met for little more than an hour Thursday afternoon in a special meeting, which resulted in [Floyd Chief of Elections Clerk Robert Brady’s] termination. Officials cited at least two reprimands that Brady received in the past six months as the reason for his firing. […] Election officials discovered around 2,600 votes that were not counted in the county’s total earlier this week during the statewide audit. Election workers ultimately had to recount more than 8,000 ballots to get to the bottom of the problem. “It really is a matter of human error not of some big fraud or conspiracy and people make mistakes, but, unfortunately, I think this one falls at the feet of our elections director who I’ve been critical of this entire elections cycle,” Rome City Commissioner Wendy Davis said in a statement. Davis added: “There weren’t the right double and triple checks right before certification to realize we hadn’t counted as many numbers as the people that early voted.” Brady’s firing comes after the
