Alyssa Milano Says Celebrities Can Help End the Pandemic by Reaching People in Ways Dr. Fauci Can't

Last year, Milano claimed she tested positive for coronavirus antibodies despite testing negative three times before. She said her symptoms included difficulty breathing, loss of smell, and bad headaches. Her effort to “reach people” comes just months after the gun control activist and defund the police supporter repeatedly smeared the millions of Americans who support Donald Trump as racists. Milano also spoke about her recent role as an ambassador for UNICEF USA. “To be very honest, they asked. I’ve always been someone who cares about the world and the challenges people face, and I’ve considered myself an activist since I was a teenager,” she said. Alyssa Milano rose to political prominence during Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court hearings, where she took a front row seat and voiced her support for Christine Blasey Ford, who accused the future Supreme Court justice of sexually assaulting her decades ago. Milano didn’t support Tara Reade in her accusations against then-presidential candidate Joe Biden. Reade accused Biden of sexually assaulting her three decades ago. Milano was one of Biden’s biggest celebrity endorsers, frequently promoting the candidate throughout the election process. Actress Rose McGowan has repeatedly hit out against her former Charmed co-star, describing Milano as a “lie” and a

'Never Been Busier': Cincy Bar Owner Thriving After Calling for LeBron James' Expulsion from NBA

The Cincinnati bar owner who refused to show NBA games until the NBA expels LeBron James from the league says the positive reactions to his campaign have far outweighed the negatives. On Sunday, Jay Linneman, the owner of Linnie’s Pub, decided to boycott NBA games after James tweeted a pic of a police officer present at the Ma’Khia Bryant shooting with a caption that read, “YOU’RE NEXT.” “If anyone wants to watch an NBA game, don’t come to Linnie’s Pub,” owner Jay Linneman said. “We will not air them until LeBron James has been expelled from the NBA. They just need to play the game, and that’s it,” Linneman said. “Their opinion doesn’t really matter. They’re using their position to push their opinions, and that’s just not right.” Upon hearing of the bar owner’s decision, James made light of the bar. “Aww Damn! I was headed there to watch our game tonight and have a drink! Welp,” he tweeted. Aww Damn! I was headed there to watch our game tonight and have a drink! Welp. https://t.co/RRfRksjckM — LeBron James (@KingJames) April 24, 2021 However, James’ snarky response may have helped fuel a surge in business for Linneman. “The

ABC Drama 'Station 19': 'We Live in a Culture Built On White Supremacy, So the Racism Is Baked In'

The ABC firehouse drama Station 19 proclaimed that “racism is baked” into the culture of America and “being black in America is a life-threatening condition,” in a recent episode that aired just as the verdict in the Derek Chauvin case was still filtering through America. The line came in the April 22 episode, entitled “Get Up, Stand Up,” in which a grief counselor was called in to push left-wing critical race theories on the firehouse employees in the wake of the death of George Floyd. In the episode set in June of 2020, Captain Maya Bishop (Danielle Savre) called former firefighter Dr. Diane Lewis (Tracie Thoms) to help the station deal with Floyd’s death. The episode went on to show the firemen sharing their deep feelings about race relations in America. At one point, Dr. Ben Warren (Jason George) admitted that he yelled at a police officer even though he has advised his own children never to shout at an officer. He also said that it was dangerous to be a black man in America and that being black is life threatening. “I’m exhausted by navigating in a world that sees me and my kids as a threat,” he said.

CPAC Myth Buster: 0.0004 Percent Chance of Being Shot by Police

Former New York Police Department (NYPD) Detective Rob O’Donnell was interviewed on a panel moderated by Matt Boyle, Washington Political Editor for Breitbart News Network, about police data and anti-police rhetoric. Boyle asked O’Donnell if he could debunk the “defund the police narrative.” O’Donnell provided the following myth-busting data points in response to the habitual framing of police brutality: Police use deadly force under 1,000 times out of 30 million violent felony criminal contacts per year. That’s a 0.0004 percent chance of being shot by the police. In America, “you are more likely to be struck by lightning than to be shot by police.” The NYPD in 2019, with 35,000 officers only fired their weapons in the line of duty 34 times. The Chicago Police Department, with 13,000 officers, only fired their weapons in the line of duty 34 times, and the Baltimore Police Department only fired their weapons in the line of duty four times. O’Donnell accused politicians of playing a “shell game” by distracting the voters’ attention to false policing narratives while failing voters in “education, infrastructure, and transportation.” O’Donnell noted that by defunding the police, “politicians will not decrease your taxes” but relocate the money to different areas. And when crime goes

Andy Samberg Tells Academy Members Opposed to Diversity Quotas to 'F**k Off'

Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Andy Samberg says those who are concerned or outright opposed to the new diversity standards and quota system recently imposed by the Academy Awards can “fuck off.” “The parameters if you look at them closely… you can have the ‘whitest’ cast in the history of cinema and still very easily meet them by just doing a few key roles behind the camera,” the Saturday Night Live alum said in an appearance on Variety‘s Awards Circuit podcast. “People who have problems with it can fuck off.” The 42-year-old added that actors and filmmakers should not primarily be concerned with winning awards but instead making the most of working to create “high art.” “I believe in comedy and I believe it can be, and is a high art form. You don’t make comedy to get nominated for stuff,” he said. “I don’t do this to get nominated for stuff and I feel good when I do it. You either kill it and you’re Jim Carrey in Eternal Sunshine or Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting or your other examples.” As explained by Breitbart back in September, under the new diversity standards, scheduled to take effect in 2024, filmmakers must meet various quotas on

MTV Teaming With Social Justice Groups to Launch 'Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion' Initiative

The MTV Entertainment Group is teaming up with social justice groups, from Color of Change to GLAAD, to launch a “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DE&I) orientation initiative that will construct new “baseline cultural norms” across Viacom CBS’ brands. The employee-led initiative — which is being branded “Culture Code” — is in partnership with social justice groups such as The Museum of Tolerance, Anti-Defamation League, The Jed Foundation, MPAC, RAINN, RespectAbility and Storyline Partners, according to a report by Deadline. As the entertainment industry continues to shift it’s programming to include more LGBTQ characters, MTV will work with social justice groups to “construct a communal set of values, understanding and baseline cultural norms to create a more inclusive and welcoming creative community.” The initiative will also expand beyond employees to include Viacom CBS’ MTV Entertainment Group projects, production companies and talent. The MTV Entertainment Group plans to pilot internal training by the end of 2020. “We live in an increasingly divisive world and yet as storytellers, we believe in the power of content to give the gift of empathy and understanding,” said Chris McCarthy, president of ViacomCBS MTV Entertainment Group. “We’re developing our Culture Code to nurture our creative community and outline a communal set of

The female hygiene company Tampax decided on Sunday to express support for biological women who want to live as men by posting on social media that biological sex doesn’t determine who has menstrual cycles. “Fact: Not all women have periods,” Tampax posted on its Twitter account. “Also a fact: Not all people with periods are women. Among those stoking the flames online were Laurence Fox, who wrote: ‘I’m genuinely interested to know who at Tampax thought it might be a good idea to gamble your entire client base (Biological Women) against this anti-factual and anti woman, virtue vomit.’ Writer

Major League Baseball’s big game lost in the TV ratings game to a midseason football game, as ratings for Game 5 of the World Series cratered.
